White River golf: Zimmer lands state alternate

White River High senior Casey Zimmer, a South Puget Sound League 3A all-league honorable mention, will serve as the third alternate to the state tournament after finishing up play at the West Central/Southwest Bi-District Golf Tournament May 18 at Eagles Pride Golf Course near Fort Lewis, Wash.

The Class 3A state boys golf tournament begins the first of two 18-hole rounds today, Wednesday, at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland, Wash.
