EHS grad named to polo second team

Elise Averill, a senior water polo player for Western Washington University, was selected to the all-conference second-team of the Northwest Division of the Collegiate Water Polo Association.

Averill, a 2005 graduate of Enumclaw High School, was a captain on the WWU women’s water polo team and just completed her fourth year of play for the Vikings.

Averill is the daughter of Bob Averill of Enumclaw and Claudia Johns of Kent. She will graduate in June with a degree in exercise and sports science, specializing in pre-physical therapy.
