The Enumclaw Ladies Golf Club hosted its annual Ladies Guest Day June 30. Members and guests enjoyed a modified shotgun format with a potluck after play. Twenty-four members and 18 guests turned out for a sunny day of golf.

Beth Hansen, a first-time event chairwoman with the help of Judy Nagel Johnson and Marge Sapanos, organized the event. Linda Hiffman and Ruth Ann Olney volunteered to take on the time-consuming scoring task.

Two of the Ladies Club scholarship recipients and four members of coach Sharon Lovinger’s Bonney Lake High golf team joined in as guests. Edean Ihlanfeldt, a member of the National Golf Coach Hall of Fame, also played as the guest of member Donna Nagel.

The following member/guests topped the field:

Handicap Flight: Low Gross, Judy Nagel Johnson/Sue Ihlanfeldt; 1st Low Net, Flo Miller/Patsy Parkhurst; and 2nd Low Net, Linda Wise/Sarah Kenyon.

Open Flight: Low Gross, Kathy Mannelly/Mara Koplitz; 1st Low Net, Sharon Lovinger/Tracy Hare; and 2nd Low Net, Gladys Hill/Mallory Paschich.

Accurate Drive went to Joni Chenaur and “K”losest to Pin went to Gladys Hill.
