White River opens volleyball, boys basketball coaching jobs
July 14, 2009 · Updated 12:25 AM
The summer season has Chris Gibson, the new athletics and activities coordinator at White River High, looking to fill a pair of coaching vacancies.
The most pressing need is finding someone to lead the volleyball program. Anjalina Randall resigned her post when her husband’s job required an out-of-state move. Gibson said he would like to have the position filled by the end of July, as the first day of practice is Aug. 24.
He has a bit more time to fill the top job with the boys basketball program, as basketball is a winter sport.
Players are busy now, however, with summer league play and tournaments. Gibson said Bo Hubbard and Justin Bolton have been heading the program while the coaching position is vacant.
