The Enumclaw High will be looking for a return to the victory column Thursday night when it travels to Sunset Chev Stadium to take on Sumner in South Puget Sound League 3A soccer action.
The last league contest for the Hornets came Thursday on their home turf, a 3-1 loss to the Bonney Lake Panthers. Dani Streuli scored in the first half to give EHS a short-lived lead; Bonney Lake’s Beverly Kobe found the net twice in the second half and Savannah Moorehouse added the game’s final goal.
Enumclaw picked up a nonleague victory Sept. 22, defeating Capital High 2-0. Noelle Bauer scored a first-half goal, Erin McCrillis added a second-half tally and Caitlin Plese earned the shutout in goal.
Following Thursday’s trip to Sumner, the Enumclaw High girls will prepare for a Tuesday visit to Auburn Mountainview.
