White River High will begin its South Puget Sound League 3A soccer season Thursday night when the Hornets hit the road to challenge the Franklin Pierce Cardinals.

League game No. 2 will come Tuesday when White River hosts Clover Park.

The Hornets played a nonleague game Tuesday afternoon, hosting Timberline; results came too late to be included here, but will be posted online.

The White River girls were in nonleague action Sept. 22 against North Thurston, a game that resulted in an easy 4-0 victory for the Hornets. Ashley Powell struck three times for the Hornets and Cassidy France added a goal.
