Wolverines run into rough Roughriders

It wasn’t good news for the Enumclaw Wolverines Saturday and Sunday as many of the teams lost their postseason bids.
The Wolverine Pee Wees lost to the Puyallup Roughriders in a try for the championship Sunday. Austin Barker scored the only touchdown in the loss.
The Wolverine Midgets lost a 33-0 contest to the Maple Valley Raiders Sunday.
The Wolverines 89ers also lost their bid for the championship 37-6 Sunday against the Puyallup Roughriders. The lone touchdown was scored by Bear Kuro.
Saturday, also against the Roughriders, the Wolverine Sweet Peas lost 12-0.
The Wolverine Bantams fell to Puyallup 24-0.
The season continues for the Wolverine cheerleaders who will compete Saturday at Graham-Kapowsin High School. The Wolverine football teams will take part in the gridiron classic around Thanksgiving.
