White River High football coach Ken Fagan announced his resignation Friday.

Athletic Director Chris Gibson said there’s no need to begin a search for a replacement immediately. He hopes to have a coach named by spring.

Fagan leaves after three unremarkable seasons when viewed from a wins-and-losses perspective. This year’s squad won just one game, the same as the year before.

Fagan replaced Kevin McNulty, who left White River for a teaching and coaching post at Ilwaco High School.
