Dylan Fagen finished third and Jesslyn Blue and Sam Mitchell were fifth as the White River High girls wrestling team placed 18th at Saturday’s Jaguar Invitational at Emerald Ridge in Puyallup.

Fagen and Blue wrestled the 135-pound bracket, while Mitchell earned her finish at 160 pounds.

Hornets Nicole Crain and Mikaela Kilcup, who had to withdraw with an injury, also saw action.

Coach Joe Klein said the ladies competed well.

The Hornet girls close out the regular season in Seattle with the Jackson High tournament Saturday, where more than 200 wrestlers, including 60 state place winners from last season, are expected to battle for top honors.
