STATE GIRLS WRESTLING: Hornets cruise through first round

The Enumclaw and White River high school girls wrestling teams made it through the first round of the state wrestling tournament virtually unscathed Friday morning at the Tacoma Dome.

White River's opening-round winners were Sam Lovelace, Mikaela Kilcup, Sam Mitchell and Kamy Padgett.

Enumclaw moves on defending state champion Chantelle Bailey and freshman Jade Paterson.
