STATE GIRLS WRESTLING: Bailey continues quest for title

Enumclaw High's Chantelle Baiely and White River High's Sam Mitchell head into the semifinals of the state wrestling tournament Saturday at the Tacoma Dome.

Bailey, on a quest to defend her state title, recorded two pins in Friday's opening rounds to earn her semifinal appearance.

Hornet teammate Jade Paterson remains alive in the medal round.

Three White River wrestlers join Mitchell on the mat Saturday. Dylan Fagan, Mikaela Kilcup, who won a 4-3 triple overtime match to stay alive, and Kamy Padgett will work their way through the consolation bracket.
