The 2010 state tournament brought the end of a highly-productive era for the Hornet girls basketball program.

The team went 147-17 in league play during the past dozen seasons, won 10 league championships during that span and has made eight state tournament appearances in 10 years.

Reclassification has opened a new chapter in the book of Hornet hoops.

In the fall, White River will drop to the smaller 2A level, based on school enrollment. The Hornets will compete in the new, Class 2A division of the South Puget Sound League.
