Enumclaw High’s only game during the opening week of the prep soccer season brought a 3-1, nonleague loss to the Yelm Tornadoes.
The game was played March 16 at the Southwood field in Enumclaw.
The Hornets jumped on the scoreboard first when Stefan Pirker scored at the 10-minute mark, thanks to a Dylan Riley assist. The visitors answered with three goals in the span of eight minutes in the first half.
The Hornets were looking to even their season record Monday with they hosted Bonney Lake at 5 p.m.; results came too late to include here but will be posted at www.courierherald.com.
