The Enumclaw High fastpitch team’s sole contest was a makeup game at Auburn Mountainview. The game was originally slated for March 29 but was moved to March 31.

Enumclaw knotted the score at 2-2 in the top of the second inning, but Auburn Mountainview, which is currently the second place team in the South Puget Sound League 3A, with a 5-1 league mark, was unrelenting. Lions’ pitcher Alleyah Amendariz fanned seven Hornets and went 2-for-2 at the plate with a triple and three RBI. The Lions went ahead 6-2 and Enumclaw tried to mount a rally in the top of the seventh frame, but fell short and suffered a 6-3 setback.

The loss put Enumclaw’s record at 3-2 in league play and 4-2 mark overall.
