Enumclaw tops White River in tennis

The Enumclaw High girls tennis team topped White River 3-2 in league action April 13.

White River singles Morgan Wilson and Rachel Hoflack picked up wins in singles play. After a 6-2 setback, Wilson topped Rachel Holly 6-4, 6-2, while Hoflack won over Alex Putman, 7-5, 6-4.

Enumclaw dominated the doubles' courts. EHS's Anna Nelson and Lauren Redman beat Haley Havelock and Courtney Hall 6-1, 7-5. Breanna Pierce and Julie Sanders won over Kelli Hoffman and Heidi Lyons, 6-2, 6-2, while Gina Sanders and Bedda Johnson paired up for a 6-0, 6-0 victory over White River's Katie Durrant and Taylor Wombacher.
