Enumclaw fastpitch sits at 6-4 in league play

Enumclaw’s fastpitch squad started like a house on fire, beating White River 11-1 in five innings April 19.

EHS entered the bottom of the fifth frame leading 2-1, when it exited it had brought the contest to an abrupt halt with nine runs.

Starting pitcher Austin Rogers allowed two hits and Courtney Cox went 2 for 4 at the plate with two doubles and four RBI.

EHS owned a 4-3 advantage against Peninsula April 20, but in the top of the fourth Peninsula exploded for four runs and an 8-6 win.

Enumclaw’s league mark dropped to 6-4.
