The White River fastpitch team didn’t make it into the subdistrict tournament as its season seemed to come to a premature end last week, first losing to Sumner 8-3, then wrapping up by edging Enumclaw 3-1.

Spartan hitters got to White River’s pitching staff early and often for a whopping 19 hits.

Pitcher Meghan Dietrich allowed four hits as White River defeated EHS for the first time in eight seasons. Dietrich also went 2 for 2 from the plate.
