With a balanced scoring attack, the Enumclaw High girls water polo team played Wilson to a 7-7 nonleague tie Saturday at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center. The two teams played two periods of overtime, but could not continue due to another scheduled event.

Lindsay Bowden led EHS scorers with three goals. Erin Stucker dropped in two, while Ali Ballard and Kelsey Sonneson each scored one.

Hannah Kinniburgh, five, and Stucker, four, combined for nine goals in a 12-11 victory over Puyallup May 5. Hornets Sonneson, Alina VanRuff and Rachel Deonigi rounded out the scoring with one goal each.

Bowden led EHS with eight goals in a 19-7 win over Sumner/Bonney Lake May 6. Ballard and Sonneson added three goals each. VanRuff scored two and Stucker, Annie Birklid and Katie Larrea each added one.

EHS closes out the regular season at home at 4:30 p.m. Thursday against Puyallup, Friday against Stadium and Saturday, if necesary, at the state qualifying tiebreaker. The top two teams in each division – East, West and Bridge – advance to the state tournament. The third-place teams play the tiebreaker for the final two spots.
