SPORTS BRIEF: Rogers top fastpitch pick

Seven players from White River and Enumclaw high schools were honored when coaches selected the South Puget Sound League 3A all-league fastpitch team.
Enumclaw pitcher Austin Rogers was a first-team selection.
Making the second team from White River were infielder Kandie Kujawa and outfielder Aubrey Custer. The lone second-team pick from Enumclaw was outfielder Kat Ferguson.
Receiving honorable mention status from Enumclaw was Kenicia McClellan. Honorable mention picks from White River were Sam Mitchell and Brooke Paulson.
Taking the top postseason awards were player of the year Taylor Watkins of Bonney Lake, pitcher of the year Kelli Crawford of Franklin Pierce and coach of the year Mike Hawkins of Lakes.
