Midsummer, the time of year that most young children's fancy turns toward baseball or getting in shape for football to while away those long hot summer afternoons.
For nearly 60 youths this past Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Enumclaw High School though....it was all about hoops.
Plateau Pro Basketball Camp manager, Tony Binetti (pictured in the first slide with pumpkins in both hands), his father Joe, Marc Callero, Will Foster and EHS Hornet senior sharpshooter Cody Klemann were just a few of the coaches who had their hands full, teaching the excited youngsters valuable fundamentals of the parquet.
The eager and anxious young cagers soaked up such nuggets of b-ball wisdom as how to shoot, dribble, rebound and pass in three all-day sessions from July 26 through July 28.
