Bonney Lake girls basketball beats Washington 59-32

The win takes the panthers to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the South Puget Sound League 3A.

The Bonney Lake High School girls basketball team got back on the winning track Thursday with a 59-32 win over visiting Washington.

Kayla Seger and Mekenzie Voellger led the way for the Panthers with 14 points each, followed by Gabriela Ruiz with eight points andy Brooklyn Gratzer with seven points.

The win takes the panthers to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the South Puget Sound League 3A, following an opening game win against Kentlake and a loss to Eatonville.

The Panthers play intradistrict rivals Sumner on Wednesday.
