Charity hoop contest still looking for responses from players

To all the community college and four-year basketball scouts, this will be an opportunity to check out these gifted roundballers being showcased in a unique environment – a no-pressure atmosphere in a fun, co-ed setting, for a worthwhile charity cause, the Rotary Club’s First Harvest Program.

“As the primary organizer of this nonprofit event I would like to see this be a feel-good basketball family gathering, and an event in which the hoop happiness is happening,” John Leggett said.

Uniforms are being furnished by 4 Sun Sports.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students with an ASB card or student ID card and a $1 charge for the little ones coming through the gate.
