Chinook Little League hosts annual jamboree Saturday

Chinook Little League parents, players, coaches and volunteers in the Buckley, Bonney Lake, Carbonado, Enumclaw and Black Diamond communities are gearing up for the 2010 Chinook Little League Jamboree Saturday at Boise Creek Park in Enumclaw. Last year approximately 800 attended this event.

The annual event features skill games like fastest pitch, a home-run derby and fastest run around the bases. Little kids will enjoy the bouncy house and face painting. There will be a drawing and raffles including raffle tickets to win a car, provided by Art Gamblin Motors, and a home entertainment center.

The day also includes games and team photographs. The day and will commence with a parade of Chinook Little League players and coaches.

Chinook Little League offers tee ball, baseball and fastpitch divisions for boys and girls ages 5 to 16 years old. In the summer, teams of Seniors and Big Leagues, ages 15 to 18, play.
