The Bonney Lake fastpitch softball team held on to Decatur and never let go Wednesday afternoon, defeating the Gators 10-0 in conference play.

The Panthers took one run in the first inning, and three each in the second, fourth and sixth innings.

Maddi Adams and Courtney Campbell each went to bat four times, connecting twice and ending the game with 2-RBI. Campbell hit a triple. Adams hit a double and stole one base.

Shantay Courneya connected twice in both times at bat, ending with 1-RBI.

On the mound, Melissa Charron pitched six innings and struck out nine Gators.

The Panthers are scheduled to play Peninsula at Peninsula High School on Tuesday.
