The Enumclaw High girls water polo team clinched a second-place league finish and earned an automatic bert at May's state tournament with a 10-8 home pool win over Auburn Riverside Thursday.

The Enumclaw High girls water polo team clinched a second-place league finish and earned an automatic bert at May’s state tournament with a 10-8 home pool win over Auburn Riverside Thursday.

Senior Ali Ballard led the Hornets’ offense with five of the team’s 10 goals. Fellow senior Kelsey Sonneson added three more points. Erin Stucker and Hannah Kinniburgh rounded out the scoring.
