Enumclaw High sent its junior varsity wrestling team to the West Seattle varsity tournament Saturday, where the Hornets carried home the second-place trophy and had five champions. The Hornets fell three points shy of winner Cedarcrest in the 10-team tournament. Cedarcrest finished with 165 points, EHS with 162.

Sawyer Lane won the 113-pound title with a 9-8 win over Kevin Nguyen of Franklin.

At 132 pounds, Jayden Fend won the crown, pinning Moises Torres of Evergreen in 1 minute, 15 seconds.

Nick Jonas was the team’s third champions, earning a 12-10 decision over Adrian Kettleson of Kennedy at 138 pounds.

Falani Gill scored a 14-4 major decision over Tyler Sutherland of Cedarcrest for the 152-pound title.

Jonathan Sugihara pinned Junior Benitez of Sammamish in 4:27 for his title at 160 pounds.

David Kingman, 126, and Sam Haney, 145, finished third.
