Enumclaw gymnastics team on top again

The Enumclaw High School gymnastics team came in first place at a four-school meet Wednesday night.

The Enumclaw High School gymnastics team came in first place at a four-school meet Wednesday night.

The Hornets earned 166.95 points, ahead of Mount Rainier at 156.8, Kentlake at 156.2, and Jefferson at 155.7.

Enumclaw’s Olivia Bannerot was scored the best all-around gymnast with 36 points. She earned first place in the vault and the uneven bars. She tied for second in floor work, alongside Hornet Emily Berte.

Teammate Molly Mattheis came in a close second with 34.5 points, taking first on the balance beam, and third in the vault.
