Congratulations to the Hornet boys and girls golf teams who finished the season undefeated for the second year in a row and won the South Puget Sound League Medalist Tournament on Monday at Gold Mountain Golf Complex.
This marks the 76th League and/or District Title the Hornets have won since 1965. Enumclaw will be sending at least 3 girls and 3 boys to the Spring 3A State Tournament in the Tri-Cities and qualified 10 players for the West Central District State Qualifier in May. Faith Hardersen, Meagan Johnson, Dylan Miller, Jared Beals and Bill Miller were placed on the 1st Team All SPSL Academic Team and the boys won the Academic Title with a combined 3.50 Cumulative GPA.
Josh Erickson was awarded the SPSL Player of the Year.
Steve Murphy was named SPSL Girls Coach of the Year
Bob Kilmer was named SPSL Boy’s Coach of the Year
