It was a rough night in Enumclaw Tuesday for the Bonney Lake boys basketball team as the Panthers fell to the Enumclaw Hornets.

Enumclaw proved too much for the Panthers, besting Bonney Lake 73-37.

The Hornets went out fast, outscoring the Panthers 21-6 in the first quarter. Bonney Lake played better in the second, however, matching Enumclaw at 13 points each, but the Hornets still went into halftime with a  34-19 lead.

Things did not get better in the second half as Enumclaw scored 24 in the third to Bonney Lake’s 7 to put the game out of reach.

Thomas Davidson, E.J. Harris and J.C. Herd led the panthers with nine points each. Enumclaw’s Junior Condon led all scorers with 14.

The Panthers next game is Friday at home against Peninsula.
