Enumclaw Water Polo: Gig Harbor thumps EHS water polo at state

Enumclaw lost 20-4 to Gig Harbor in the opening round of the state tournament Wednesday.

It was a rough start for the Enumclaw High girls water polo team Wednesday as they started the state tournament with a 20-4 loss to 2008’s state-title runner-up Gig Harbor.

The tournament continues Friday and Saturday at Rogers High School in Puyallup.

EHS picked up its four points on goals from Lindsay Bowden, Liz Schmidt, Breanna Flaquinti and Kelsey Sonneson. Gig Harbor was led by the eight goals of Aundi Ragan.
