EHS fastpitch coach hits big milestone

Coach Mike Eckhart was won 500 career softball games.

Enumclaw High softball coach Mike Eckhart, left, reached a significant milestone last week, picking up his 500th career victory as a high school coach.

During a brief postgame ceremony, Eckhart was presented with a game ball by EHS Athletic Director Phil Engebretsen.

This is Eckhart’s ninth season at the Hornet helm, following a stint at Sammamish High School.
