Former Enumclaw High Athletic Director Tim Tubbs scored his first hole-in-one over the weekend while playing at the private “Westby National” course outside Enumclaw.

Tubbs, who also coached golf during his career with the Hornets, aced the par-3 No. 2 hole. He used a wedge on the 126-yard hole.

Tubbs came dangerously close to back-to-back aces as, on the next hole, his tee shot landed within a club length of the hole.
