The Hornets blanked North Thurston 1-0 March 30 and whipped Fife 3-0 a day later. Both games were on the White River campus.

The victory over North Thurston came courtesy of a goal by Jarrod Adams in the 47th minute, off an assist by Evan Robertson.

On March 31, the Hornets hosted a Fife High squad that traveled to Buckley with a 4-0 record. The teams battled to a scoreless tie well into the second half, with White River finally cracking the scoreboard when Justin Chase scored off an Adams assist in the 60th minute. That opened the floodgates and the Hornets rolled to victory with goals in the 71st minute by Nathan Jung and the 76th minute by Jeremy Young.

The 5-0 White River squad was looking to keep its record clean Monday when the team traveled south to take on Timberline High in nonleague action. Results came too late to be included here but are posted at www.courierherald.com. The Hornets host Franklin Pierce Friday and travel to Clover Park Tuesday, both games beginning at 7 p.m.
