Sumner swimmers, diver ready for postseason

As they head toward postseason competition, a handful of Bonney Lake swimmers have qualified for upcoming league and district meets – and diver Rafael Rodriguez has already secured a berth in the Class 3A state meet.

As they head toward postseason competition, a handful of Sumner swimmers have qualified for upcoming league and district meets – and diver Rafael Rodriguez has already secured a berth in the Class 3A state meet.

The league meet takes place Saturday at Rogers High School on Puyallup’s South Hill.

Representing the Panther program will be Levi Anderson, Chase Davis, Jeremiah Friend, Erick Johns, Alex Joy, James Lee, Blake Lewis, Zach Stockdale-Pederson and Rodriguez. Also on hand will be the three Panther relay teams.

Already qualifying for districts are Johns, Lee and Rodriguez, plus the three relay teams.
