Bonney Lake’s baseball team defeated Lakes 12-2 Thursday night in conference play at home.

The Panthers opened with a strong lead of five runs in the first inning, taking another four in the third and three more in the fourth. Lakes took one run each in the second and fourth innings.

Cory Burrill, completing the game with 2-RBI, went to bat twice, hitting one triple. He ran to home plate once.

Taiki Green, 3-RBI, went to bat three times and hit the ball three times. He made one run to home plate.

Dylan Moran, 1-RBI, went to bat three times and hit a triple. He ran to home plate twice.

On the mound, winning pitcher Kash Koltermann pitched five innings and struck out Lancers five times.

The Panthers are scheduled to play the Enumclaw Hornets Tuesday and Wednesday.
