Panthers narrowly defeat Decatur | Bonney Lake Boys Track & Field

Panthers took first place in the 200-meter dash, 400 dash, 800 dash, 3200 dash, 110-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, 4-by-400 relay and pole vault.

Bonney Lake’s boys track and field team narrowly outperformed Decatur 73-72 Wednesday.

Panthers took first place in the 200-meter dash, 400 dash, 800 dash, 3200 dash, 110-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, 4-by-400 relay and pole vault.

Senior Cody Selle beat the 200 dash in 22.84 seconds.

Junior Lance Manago beat the 400 dash in 53.36 seconds.

Senior Ryan McGraw beat the 800 dash in 2 minutes, 6.74 seconds.

Junior Fabian Morales ran the 110 hurdles in 18.16 seconds, then beat the 300 hurdles in 45.24 seconds.

The 4-by-400 team of David Barfoot, Selle, Bennett Hillier and Manago finished the race in 3:45.83.

Freshman Austin Schweyen rose highest on the pole vault, to 10 feet.

The Panthers compete in the Sentinel Classic at Steilacoom Saturday.
