A handful of local players were honored when coaches sat down to make their all-South Puget Sound League selections.

Among Class 3A girls, Bonney Lake High junior Carli Elwin was a first-team selection. Senior teammate Savannah Moorehouse was named to the second team and senior Hannah Messner received honorable mention status.

In 3A boys, Bonney Lake senior Ramsey Thoms was a second-team selection and junior Mike Gould received honorable mention.

In the Class 2A girls voting, Sumner’s Erika Olsen and Angie Wager-Sanchez were first-team selections. Kaitlin King was a second-team pick and Tyeanne Lubking received honorable mention.

On the Class 2A boys side of things, Sumner High juniors Zeb Glissmeyer and Daniel deVries were second-team selections.

Sumner High also picked up Band of the Year honors.
