Panthers, Spartans on to districts | Track and Field

The Bonney Lake and Sumner High girls and boys track team competed at the subdistrict tournament at Sunset Stadium Friday and Saturday.

The athletes will move to the West Central District meet next weekend, also at Sunset Stadium.

Bonney Lake

On the boys side Bennett Hillier won the 800 meters in 1 minute, 58.16 seconds.

The 1,600 relay team of Orion Adair, Bennett Hillier, Lance Manago and Christian Coons took second in 3:31.56.

Austin Schweyen was second in the pole vault reaching 11 feet, 6 inches.

For the girls Samantha Boudreau was third in the shot put reaching 37-04.
