Thanks to a rained out Saturday, the Bonney Lake Panthers fastpitch softball team played three games Monday afternoon, ending in sixth seed placement for the state tournament.

Thanks to a rained out Saturday, the Bonney Lake Panthers fastpitch softball team played three games Monday afternoon, ending in sixth seed placement for the state tournament.

The Panthers played Kelso at 11 a.m., losing 8-7 and knocking them to the consolation bracket.

Bonney Lake rallied to defeat Woodrow Wilson High 5-0 at a 1 p.m. game, and Auburn Mountainview 7-4 at the 5 p.m. game.

The Panthers begin the WIAA state tournament Friday at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey. They play Juanita High at 9 a.m.
