Today and Thursday, Jan. 16 the Rainier Plateau Junior Rugby Club will hold a preseason mini camp open to anyone interested in playing and joining the team.

The mini camps will be held at Sunset Chev Stadium and is free to those prospective new players.

These mini camps should provide kids an opportunity to come and participate in a run through of the basic fundamentals of rugby and how the game is played. The camps are run by our coaches and assisted by existing players. The physical level is very much diluted and the camp is run in a fun and relaxed environment.

They start at 3:45 p.m. and go until 5:30 p.m. on both days. They are open to both girls and boys and registration is not required.
