Spartans defeat Olympic, move on to second round of state | Sumner Boys Soccer

Sumner’s boys soccer team defeated Olympic 2-1 in the first round of the WIAA state 2A tournament, held at Sunset Chev Stadium Wednesday.

Andres Lirio shot both Spartan goals, once in the 59th minute and again in the 60th minute.

The Spartans will play Sedro Woolley at Sunset Chev on Saturday, 5 p.m.
