Spartans trump Orting 8-1 | Sumner Fastpitch

Allie Sims was the winning pitcher, striking out nine Orting players.

Sumner Spartans fastpitch defeated Orting 8-1 Tuesday in conference play.

Allie Sims went to bat five times and achieved 5-RBI. Sims was also the winning pitcher, striking out nine Orting players.

Hannah Wilson went to bat four times and ran to home plate twice.

The Spartans play Steilacoom Friday at 4 p.m.
