The Bonney Lake Panthers girls basketball season continued Tuesday with the first round of the subdistricts tournament.

The Panthers lost to Kennedy Catholic 49-40.

The girls aren’t out of the tournament yet, they look to face the Enumclaw Hornets at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 at Bonney Lake High School.

The Spartans boys and girls played Tuesday in the first round of subdistricts.

The boys lost 64-57 to the Renton Indians and the girls beat the Evergreen Wolverines 64-29.

Both teams seasons continues tonight as the host the second round games.

The boys tip off first at 5:45 p.m. against the Foster Bulldogs. And the Spartans girls follow at 7:30 p.m. taking on the Franklin Pierce Cardinals.

Win or lose the Spartans will play again Friday. For the boys and girls bracket look at the Washington Prep Athletics Network website.
