Spartan volleyball now has a 7-2 conference record in South Puget Sound League 2A.

Sumner’s girls volleyball team defeated the Washington Patriots 3-2 Tuesday night.

The Spartans now have a 7-2 conference record in South Puget Sound League 2A.

Match scores were 25-21, 21-25, 22-25, 25-20 and 15-9.

Kaetlyn Brown achieved 19 kills and shoved three aces down the Patriots’ gullet during serves.

Karissa Smith achieved 15 kills and made 12 digs.

Brittany Smith made 29 assists to other Spartans who scored.

Hannah Fitzpatrick and Lindsay Colwell made 18 and 14 digs, respectively.
