Tuesday Hoops | Results from Bonney Lake and Sumner basketball

The Bonney Lake boys basketball team traveled to Enumclaw to play the Hornets on Tuesday. The Panthers were ahead most of the game but couldn't hold onto the lead in the final seconds. Bonney Lake lost 67-62.

The Panthers were ahead most of the game but couldn’t hold onto the lead in the final seconds. Bonney Lake lost 67-62.

The Panthers will host the Peninsula Seahawks at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24.

Panthers Girls

The Bonney Lake girls hosted Enumclaw and beat the Hornets 38-31.

The Panthers will travel to Peninsula on Friday to play the Seahawks at 7 p.m.

Sumner Basketball

The Spartans boys team traveled to Franklin Pierce on Tuesday.

Sumner beat the Cardinals 63-32.

Next up, the Spartans will travel to Steilacoom on Friday to take on the Sentinels at 7 p.m.

Sumner Girls

The girls also traveled to Franklin Pierce on Tuesday and beat the Cardinals 62-28.

The Spartans will travel with the boys to Steilacoom on Friday at tip off before them at 5:15 p.m. against the Sentinels.
