The annual Enumclaw High School Athletics Hall of Fame night is planned for Friday, Jan. 22. The ceremony will take place at halftime of the boys basketball game against Auburn Riverside.

The 2016 inductees will be:

• Mike Hanson, EHS class of 1974

• Dorothy Sleigh (Lokovsek), EHS class of 1951

Hanson competed in basketball, golf and cross country. He scored 39 points in a state tournament game vs. Sunnyside and – before the 3-point line was added – held the record for most points scored in one game at state.

Sleigh is being honored for her longtime support of Enumclaw High athletics. In high school she participated in multiple activities in a time when very few opportunities where available for girls. Since 1951 she has continued to be a huge fan and supporter of Enumclaw athletics and can often be found in the stands at various contests.
