Trailing by 10 points after three quarters of play, the White River High boys bounced back Monday night to earn a 63-59 victory over Tumwater.

The nonleague contest was played at Tumwater.

The Hornets started slow, scoring just seven points in the opening quarter. A 23-11 advantage in the final period made all the difference, however.

White River: 7-16-17-23 – 63

Tumwater: 15-18-15-11 – 59

White River scoring: Larsen 17, Alex Wallen 14, Tyler Meadows 13, Trevor Truax 8, Cameron Cawley 4, Chris Marmon 2, Hunter Mills 2, Lusk 2, Flanigan 1.

White River record: 2-1 overall.
