The holiday shopping season officially got under way in Sumner Nov. 13 with the annual Hometown Holiday celebration.

Stores offered special deals and special holiday treats to draw in the customers.

Shoppers were also entertained by the Norman Rockwell living art exhibits, which placed members of Ascension Productions in store windows up and down Main Street.
