Danish Sisterhood cancels August Aebleskiver breakfast

Organizers cited concerns over growing COVID-19 rates

The Danish Sisterhood will not be holding their Aebleskiver breakfast, which was scheduled for August 28 at the Danish Hall in Enumclaw. The group chose to cancel the fundraiser because of the rising rates of hospitalizations due to increased COVID-19 activity.

The event had previously been featured in the August edition of the Courier-Herald’s “At A Glance” calendar. Carol Lingner, president of the sisterhood, said in an email that the organizers are concerned for the health of medically fragile elders whom they are caring for.
