NO COOPERATION: An officer responded to the Enumclaw fire station at 9 p.m. Sept. 18 to assist firefighters. A woman initially needed medical assistance, then wanted to speak to county and city authorities about a report she had filed in Enumclaw. Once an officer arrived, she refused to provide any information and also refused medical treatment.

HIT AND RUN: Officers were on the lookout shortly after 5 a.m. Sept. 10 for the driver of a white pickup who hit a stop sign in Buckley, then fled. The suspect vehicle was soon located at an Enumclaw grocery store. The driver, who has a suspended license, had hit his head but refused medical aid. Buckley police were to handle the situation.

HUNTERS: A caller told police the afternoon of Sept. 5 he had heard multiple gunshots north of his home. Everything was quiet upon an officer’s arrival. Police noted hunting season has begun and the shots possibly were coming from private property in county jurisdiction.

HUNTING ISSUE: A Washington State Patrol trooper asked for city police involvement Sept. 4 with a hunting issue in the vicinity of Blake Street and Warner Avenue. It was then determined the issue involved hunting at Southeast 464th Street and 268th AVenue Southeast, so King County authorities were notified.
VEHICLE FIRE: Officers assisted shortly before 11 p.m. Sept. 3 with a vehicle fire at state Route 410 and Warner Avenue. The vehicle was left on the side of the road, waiting fora private tow.
